The website will also feature more international competitions and job opportunities for makers of public art.

The website will be accessible to a wider audience as it is now available in English (publicart.fi) and Swedish (offentligkonst.fi), as well as Finnish (julkinentaide.fi).

The language versions will improve the accessibility of the website as information about public art projects will be more readily available to both Swedish-speaking Finns and the Finnish art scene that is spreading overseas. The Handbook of the Percent for Art Principle  has already been published in Finnish, Swedish and English, and the website provides even more information.

Information about competitions and events will be published in the languages provided by the organisers. If a description of a competition is only available in Finnish, the competition will only feature on the Finnish website.

International aspects will be more prominent

In addition to the foreign language versions, the website will offer a wider international perspective. The Percent for Art principle is commonly applied in the other Nordic countries as well as elsewhere in Europe and North America, and a new page, job opportunities abroad, has been created to highlight this.

The website will consistently report on international public art competitions in addition to those organised in Finland. International competitions will be available in the calendar.
